Today's Craft : Batter Up! A Fun Baseball Bookmark
Create a beautiful baseball bookmark for yourself or the baseball enthusiast in your life!

To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, a colorful pipe cleaner, scissors, crayons, and other materials to decorate your baseball bookmark. To begin cut out a simple baseball using the picture provided as a guide. Now select a colorful piece of construction paper and cut out the baseball bat. The color you choose will be the dominant color of your baesball bat. You could also use a heavier weight piece of paper if you wish to make a more sturdy bookmark. Today's Craft : Crawling Crabs with Claws
Careful these crabs could pinch your toe!

To make this craft project you will need brass fasteners, colored construction paper, glue, tape, colored cotton balls, crayons, and scissors. Your crab will be made up of several different pieces. First let's make the crab's body. Select a piece of colored construction paper. The color you choose will become the dominant color of your crab. Fold it in half and cut an oval leaving the fold intact. Next cut out two big crab claws. You can use the templates listed at the address below or your own imagination. Attach the two crab claws with brass fasteners to the bottom of the crab body you just cut out. Next cut out little crab legs to go out from the sides of the crab body and tape or glue them in place. To make a fantastic holder for your pencils and pens you will need a small jar, empty coffee can, or a large cup. Take the container you have selected and cover the outside of the container with brightly colored tissue paper-whatever color you choose. Cover it with two layers of tissue paper and secure the tissue paper in place with glue or tape. If you selected a large cup you might want to add about 1/2 inch of sand or a rock to the bottom of your pencil holder to give it weight so it won't tip over. To create an enormous elephant mask for yourself take a piece of heavier weight gray paper and cut a large circular face and attach a craft stick at the base for a holder. Next cut out eye slits so you will be able to see through your elephant mask. Now you are ready to cut out large elephant ears and a huge trunk. Attach the ears to the mask with glue or tape to the mask and add the trunk to the center of the mask with a brass fastener so it swings back and forth. Really Funny Rooster

Today's Craft : Really Funny Rooster
Do you wake up easily? Have you ever slept on a farm and been woken up by a rooster in the morning? Would you like to make a rooster of your own?

To make this craft project you will need a styrofoam cup, white tissue paper, tape, red construction paper, yellow construction paper, white paper, scissors, a dixie cup, yellow pipe cleaners, glue, and crayons.To begin, take your tissue paper and cut or tear it into small rectangluar pieces. These will be your rooster's feathers. Flip your cup upside down and glue them onto the cup. Layer them to give the rooster's body a feathered look. Set aside and let your rooster's body dry. Attach the dixie cup to the top of the styrofoam cup. This will be your rooster's head.Next cut out some rooster features. You can use your own imagination or the templates provided at the address below. Cut the rooster's comb and other features from red construction paper. Take a piece of white paper and cut out some cute rooster eyes. Also take a piece of yellow construction paper and cut out a small yellow triangle for your rooster's beak.Next take your yellow pipe cleaners. Cut one of them in half and poke each piece through the lower part of the rooster's body in the front. These will become your rooster's legs. Take another pipe cleaner and cut small pipe cleaner pieces to wrap on the rooster's legs to create rooster feet. Use the picture as a guide. Now let's assemble your rooster! Tape or glue the rooster's features to the dixie cup- use the picture as a guide.Now decorate your rooster further with crayons. Add more features and decorations, maybe even a cute rooster name.

Craft Stick Chalkboard

Today's Craft : Craft Stick Chalkboard
To make this craft project you will need craft sticks, glue, scissors, chalkboard paper, and tape. Additionally if you wish to decorate the frame of the chalkboard further, you will need paint or markers. To start take four groupings of two craft sticks each and glue them lengthwise to create 4 craft stick sections. These with be the frame for your chalkboard. Let them dry. Next take you chlakboard paper and cut a rectangle or square piece which will fit within the length and width of your frame. Glue the ends of it to two separate craft stick sections. Next glue the remaining two craft stick sections on top of the other two sections- use the picture as a guide. Let it dry and then flip the frame over. To make this craft project you will need a heavy weight piece of paper or cardboard, and assortment of flat buttons, tacky glue and scissors. To begin take your scissors and cut out two pieces of paper or cardboard in the size and shape that you want your picture frame to take. Put one aside. Take the other and cut out the center in an attractive form leaving the edges for you to cover with buttons. Glue your buttons to this piece covering the border. Let dry. For this craft you will need pipe cleaners, aluminum foil, tissue paper and construction paper. Take a sizable piece of foil and scrunch it into a bee hive shape and cover it completely with brownish tissue paper- this will be the hive. Next cut out bees from yellow paper, and black stripes and white wings. Assemble your bees. Rocking Horses

Today's Craft : Rocking Horses
To make a rocking horse, first take a heavier weight piece of paper and fold it in half. Cut out the bottom half and body of rocking horse using the template provided. Be sure to place the flat part of the template on the fold. Open up your rocking horse and cut a small slit at the front of the horse's body where later you will slip in the horse's head. Color and decorate your horse and rocker. Next cut out the horse head and decorate it- add eyes, a mane, a bridle using materials in your toolbox. To make this craft project you will need colored pom-poms, glue, pipe cleaners, crayons, scissors, colored construction paper, and tape. Tow Trucks

Cut out a great tow truck and wheels for it using the patterns provided. Attach the wheels to your truck with brass fasteners so they will spin. Next cut a small piece of ribbon and attach a paper clip to the end of it. Attach the ribbon piece to your tow truck to create your towing mechanism. Large Lady Bugs

Today's Craft : Large Lady Bugs
Transform a paper bowl into a large and lucky Lady Bug!

To make this craft project you will need a red paper bowl (or you could paint a paper bowl red), black construction paper, scissors, glue, black pipe cleaners, white paper, and some brass fasteners (if you want the wings to move).

To begin take a piece of black construction paper and cut out a large circle. Now cut the circle in half- these halves will be the wings for your lady bug. Next take the bowl and flip it over- this will be your lady bug's body. Attach the wings with brass fasteners to the top of the bowl so they swing back and forth or simply glue them in place.


Next cut out a number of black circles and add these with glue to the lady bug. Cut the pipe cleaners in half and add antennae to the top to the lady bug's head and pipe cleaner legs to the sides of the body.


Next cut out two large white circles and glue smaller black circles onto to them for eyes and add them to the ladybug's head.


Let your lady bug dry and place it somewhere special! Enjoy Crafting!

Create your own blossoming apple tree picture. You will need: popped popcorn, blue construction paper, brown, and green construction paper (or paint or crayons and markers), and some glue. You can make this craft several different ways- using paint, construction paper, or crayons and markers to create your tree branches and leaves. Take your piece of blue construction paper and add a large tree branch going across the page in whichever medium you choose (brown paper cut into strips, brown paint, or crayon). Next add green leaves to the ends of the branches. Now you are ready to add your popcorn. Glue on pieces of fluffy popcorn around the green leaves to create apple blossoms.

Next cut the bag down to twice the height your want the edges of your basket to be. Now fold the sides of the bag down so that the sides are doubled up. Take the section of the bag you cut off and cut it into a strip for a basket handle. Staple the ends of the strip onto the sides of the basket. Now you are ready to decorate your basket. Today's Craft: Great 3D Paper Easter Eggs
Create some fantastic and decorative paper eggs for Easter from simple materials. They are a snap to make! Fill a basket, make an Easter Egg tree, and more...
To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, scissors, tape, glue, crayons, and other materials to decorate youe Easter eggs. To begin select all different colors of construction to create your Easter eggs. Each Easter egg will be made from four paper strips of different colors. You could also use the same colors- whatever you wish! First take a piece of colored construction paper, hold it horizontally, and cut strips about 1/2 inch wide. Next cut these strips in half. Repeat with other colors of paper. Now take each of these strips of paper and cut the ends of the strips with your scissors into points. Now you are ready to create your Easter eggs. Take two colorful strips and attach the pointed ends together with tape or glue to form a bowed oval shape. Now attach another paper strip to the two you just attached together at the intersection of the points. Add a fourth paper strip to complete the egg. Use the picture as a guide. An Inviting Easter Envelope

Today's Craft : An Inviting Easter Envelope
Send someone a wonderful Easter note in this bright fun chicken envelope!
To make this project you will need an envelope, a pipe cleaner, and some yellow, orange, and other colored crayons. First turn your envelope over and fold up the flap. Draw two eyes at the top of the point and a beak for your bird just below. Next draw in the outline of wings along the envelope creases. Now take your pipe cleaner and bend it into a V. Trim about an inch piece off the end of each V and wind the pieces around the ends to create three-pointed chicken feet. Tape the top bend of the V on the bottom of the other side of the envelope to create feet for your bird. now you are ready to decorate your bird- color him yellow, add orange to the beak, big bright eyes- even real feathers if you want. Now take a small piece of white paper that will fit in the envelope and write a little note or greeting to send to someone special.

Fill a cone carrot with all sorts of fun Easter treats and candy!
To make this craft project you will need orange construction paper, tape, glue, green tissue paper, 2 green pipe cleaners, scissors, and fun treat to fill up your cool carrot. To begin take your piece of orange construction paper, bend it into a cone, and secure its shape with tape. Next take your two pipecleaners and weave them together- they will become the handle for your carrot. Attach one end to each side of the top of the carrot. Next take your green tissue paper and cut out two or three large leafy shapes and attach them to the top of your cone so they drape over the outside- this is your carrot's leafy top. Marshmallow Bunnies

Today's Craft: Marshmallow Bunnies
A Simple and Adorable Easter Bunny which is a snap to make! You might just eat a few marshmallows on your way to creating this cute little bunny!
To make this craft project you will need some marshmallows (large and small), toothpicks, a pipe cleaner, scissors, markers, construction paper, and glue.To begin take two large marshmallows and stick them together with a toothpick- one on top of the other. These marshmallows are your bunny's head and body.Next take two little marshmallows and stick them onto a toothpick. Repeat. Now stick these toothpicks into the top of the bunny's head to form cute bunny ears.Next take several toothpicks and break them in half. Stick a small marshmallow on the end of each one. Stick two of these in the front for cute bunny legs and stick one in the back for a cute cotton ball tail.Now cut out a small bowtie from your colored construction paper. Take your colorful pipe cleaner and cut about a two inch section. Thread the bowtie through the pipe cleaner and bend it around the bunny's neck so he looks like he is wearing the neck.Now decorate your bunny further if you wish!

Easter Egg Frame

Today's Craft : Easter Egg Frame
To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, scissors, glue, a photo, and 2 heavy weight piece of papers or cardboard. To begin take your scissors and cut out two pieces of paper or cardboard in the size and shape that you want your picture frame to take, or you can use the basic frame shape template provided below. Put one aside. Take the other and cut out the center in an attractive form leaving the edges for you to cover with paper Easter eggs. Cut out a lot of construction paper Easter eggs in a wide variety of colors. Glue your Easter eggs to the cardboard piece, covering the border. Let dry. Now take your picture and glue it to the center of the piece of paper or cardboard you put aside. Next glue the Easter egg covered frame over the picture and let dry. Attach a ribbon to the back if you want to hang it up.

Easter Bunny Masks

Today's Craft : Easter Bunny Masks
Easter is just around the corner!
Create a simple and cute Easter Bunny mask.
It will transform you or anyone into one cute bunny!
To make this craft project you will need two paper plates, scissors, colored pipe cleaners, tape, glue, craft sticks, cotton balls, colored construction paper and crayons. To begin take your craft sticks and tape several together end to end to make a larger craft stick. This will be your mask's holder. Next take one of your white paper plates and cut out two large arcing bunny ears. Use the picture as a guide. Next take the other paper plate and using your scissors cut out two bunny eyes in the top center of the plate. You will be able to see through your mask through these eye holes. This will be your Easter Bunny face. Next attach the two bunny ears to the top of the bunny's face. Use tape or glue. Now secure the mask holder to the base of the the mask with tape. Next cut out a colorful triangle nose and glue it to the Easter Bunny's face. Add colorful pipe cleaner whiskers, cotton ball fur, and more! Let your mask dry and have some fun!

Cool Cone Bunny

Today's Craft: Cool Cone Bunny
To make this craft project you will need bright colored paper, scissors, tape, glue, markers or crayons, and pipecleaners. To begin, bend a piece of colored paper into a cone shape, secure in place with tape, and then trim the bottom of the paper cone with your scissors so it lies flat. This will become your bunny. Next using the templates provided below cut out two bunny ears, a bunny nose, and bunny eyes from colored paper with your scissors. Large Lucky Leprechaun

Today's Craft: Large Lucky Leprechaun
Spring is almost here! Welcome the season with a wonderful Leprechaun! To make your large lucky friend you will need green crepe paper, some green, white, and black construction paper, orange paper shreds or crepe paper, tape, glue, and some scissors. First cut out a white face, black hat, black boots, some small black buttons, and 2 white hands . Next cut 4 lengths of green crepe paper- however long you wish your leprechaun's arms and legs to be. Next take a piece of green construction paper and roll it into a tube shape- this will be the body of the leprechaun. Now attach the crepe paper arms and legs to the top and bottom sides of the tube. Add the hands and boots to the ends of the crepe paper. Decorate the leprechaun face - add fun features, an orange beard, a hat, and whatever else you like. Let it dry and attach it to the body tube. Now decorate the body - add the buttons and mayabe a shamrock or two.
