Create this adorable bat using a black cup and construction paper 

 Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need a black cup, some black construction paper, scissors, and either some colored stickers or pieces of colored construction paper, and glue. 

To begin, cut out a batwing using the template provided below. 

Glue it onto the back of the cup- use the picture as a guide. 

Now add a cute bat face with stickers or glue on pieces of colored paper. Let dry.

Make some fun fall pumpkin prints using an apple and some paint!

To make this craft project you will need an apple, some paper towels, white paper, orange paint, and other colored paints.

To begin take your apple and cut it in half lengthwise. Blot it with a paper towel and let it dry a bit. Now paint the cut side of the apple with your orange paint and then press it onto a sheet of white paper. Let your print dry. 

Add a pumpkin or jack o'lantern face to your pumpkin print with your other paints.

To make this craft project you will need a paper plate, straw or raffia, glue, scissors, and colored construction paper. 

To begin, take your scissors and cut out some circles for eyes, a triangle nose, and some curvy lines for eyebrows and a smile from your colored construction paper. 

Next take your glue and cover your paper plate with it. Add straw or raffia on top of the glue, covering the plate. Now add your scarecrow's facial features. Let dry.

Fabulous Footpints

Preserve your foot for eternity with this sandy project!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft you will need: a shoe box (or some type of tray with about two or three inches of depth), sand from the beach, plaster of paris, a bowl, and some water.

Fill your box or tray with sand and sprinkle it with water just so that the sand is held together. Step into the sand and remove your foot, leaving a nice footprint. 

Create a plaster of paris mixture in a bowl. Plaster of paris is available at most craft stores. Pour the plaster of paris into the footprint-don't overflow the footprint! 

Let the plaster of paris dry- about a week- and remove your foot. Use it as a scary prop, a paper weight, decorate it- You decide!

Crabs with a Lot of Snap!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need crayons or markers, tape of glue, a small orange paper plate, 8 craft sticks, some orange paint, 2 orange pipe cleaners, scissors, and 2 clothespins.

To begin paint your craft sticks orange and let dry. Next attach them to the bottom of your paper plate. Next take your scissors and poke two holes in the front rim of the paper about 3 inches apart and thread a pipe cleaner through each hole ~ use the picture as a guide. Attach the clothespins - one to the end of each pipe cleaner. Add a crab face with your crayons or markers!

Craft Project Directions:
Have you ever searched for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

To make your own, you will need a paper or plastic cup, some colored tissue paper, heavier weight paper, and some fun materials to decorate your creation with. First take your cup and cover it with colored tissue paper- you could make it black or whatever color you wish.

Next cut out a rainbow from the heavier weight paper that will lead to your pot of gold. Decorate it with crayons, markers, or pieces of colored paper to give it all the colors you want.

When it dries, attach it to your pot of gold. Next create some gold coins for your pot- cut small circles from yellow construction paper, wrap them in gold foil or just decorate them.

Fill up your pot and you will have a great pot of gold!

Sweet Egg Carton Leprechaun

Sweet Egg Carton Leprechaun

Take 3 egg carton sections and create a leprechaun guaranteed to make you smile!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this leprechaun you will need thee egg carton sections, green paint, scissors, glue, markers, and a cotton ball. To begin take the three egg carton sections and cut 4 points into each of them.

Next paint two of the sections St. Patrick's Day green and leave one white. The white one will become your leprechaun's face, one green one will be your leprechaun's hat, and the other green one will be your leprechaun's shirt.

Now take one of the green section and place it pointed side down. Set the white one on the top of it, pointed side up, and glue it in place. Next place the other green section pointed side down on top of the white section so the points intermingle.

Now add a cute leprechaun face to the white section with markers and if you like add a cotton ball to the top of your leprechaun's hat.

Sime and Lively Leprechauns

Create a simple and lively leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day from your hand prints. This a wonderful holiday keepsake or a sweet holiday gift for someone special.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need scissors, colored construction paper, a pen or pencil to trace your hands, tape or glue, and crayons or markers.

To begin, first take a piece of white paper and fold it in half. Next trace your hand print onto the piece of paper with your fingers together and your thumb out at a slight angle from your palm. Cut out the hand prints - you should have two since you folded the paper in half - and set aside.

Be sure to round out the bottom of the palms. The bottom will be the chin of your leprechaun's face. Next take a piece of green construction paper and fold it in half. Trace your hand print with your fingers together and your thumb straight out to the side.

Cut out the hand prints - you should have two since you folded the paper in half - and set aside. Trim these prints straight across from the thumbs to create a brim for your leprechaun's hat. Now select a colorful piece of construction paper for a background.

Take the two white hand prints and overlay them so the thumbs become ears and the palms overlap to form a chin and a leprechaun face. glue or tape them in place. Next take the green hand prints and overlay them on top of the white leprechaun face you just created.

Overlap the green prints so the fingers overlap to form a hat and the thumbs line up to form the brim of the leprechaun's hat. If you want, slide the brim of the hat under one of the leprechaun's ears and tilt it slightly. Glue or tape it in place. Now you are ready to decorate your Leprechaun! Add a delightful Leprechaun face, a shamrock or two, a buckle for the hat, and maybe even a lucky piece of Leprechaun gold or two.

Large Lucky Leprechaun

Large Lucky Leprechaun 

Craft Project Directions:
Spring is almost here! Welcome the season with a wonderful Leprechaun!

To make your large lucky friend you will need green crepe paper, some green, white, and black construction paper, orange paper shreds or crepe paper, tape, glue, and some scissors.

First cut out a white face, black hat, black boots, some small black buttons, and 2 white hands . Next cut 4 lengths of green crepe paper- however long you wish your leprechaun's arms and legs to be.

Next take a piece of green construction paper and roll it into a tube shape- this will be the body of the leprechaun. Now attach the crepe paper arms and legs to the top and bottom sides of the tube.

Add the hands and boots to the ends of the crepe paper. Decorate the leprechaun face - add fun features, an orange beard, a hat, and whatever else you like. Let it dry and attach it to the body tube.

Now decorate the body - add the buttons and mayabe a shamrock or two.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need a box, green wrapping paper, green, red, and pink construction paper, two small paper cups, scissors, glue, tape, and markers.

To begin wrap your box in green paper and cut a slit in the top large enough to slip Valentines through. Now cut out a number of pink and red construction paper hearts to decorate the box with.

Next take the two paper cups and either color them green with marker or wrap them in green paper. Attach them to the top of the box to create your frog's eyes - add small red construction hearts to them - use the picture as a guide.

Now cut two large frog legs using the templates provided and attach them to the box. Cut out a long red paper strip from your construction paper, curl it with your scissors, and attach to the box creating your frog's tongue. Now decorate your Valentine box more with paper hearts and markers.

Easy Paper Lanterns

Easy Paper Lanterns

Create some simple paper lanterns from colorful construction paper.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need colorful construction paper, scissors, a stapler, and markers.

 To begin take a piece of paper and fold it in half.

Now hold the paper so the fold is facing you. Next take your scissors and make vertical cuts all along the fold leaving an inch at either end and about 1/2 inch between cuts.

 Next unfold the paper and bend into a roll lengthwise and staple the top edge together and the bottom edge together to create your paper lantern.

Next take another piece of construction and cut a paper strip to staple to the top of your lantern as a holder. Decorate more with markers if you wish.

Chocolate Kiss Flowers

Chocolate and a flower - what could be better?

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need hershey kisses, wodden skewers, green pipecleaners, red cellophane, scissors, and tape.

To begin cut a large square from the red cellophane using your scissors.

Next take two chocolate kisses and hold them so the botttom are together - this is your basic flower shape. Next wrap and gather the red cellophane around the two chocolate kisses.

Place the top of the wooden skewer so it meets the end of the bottom chocolate kiss and is covered by the gathered cellophane. Tape all of this together so it holds and then cover the tape and the wooden skewers by wrapping green pipecleaners around them. Add pipecleaner leaves to the stem if you wish.
