An Octopus who is a Real Handful

Today's Craft: An Octopus who is a Real Handful
Create a sea creature from your handprints!

To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, a piece of blue paper, glue, crayons, scissors, and your hands to trace.

To begin, first trace each one of your hands on a colorful piece of construction paper.

Cut out those colorful hand prints and round out the top of the prints to create a nice even curve.

Next select a nice blue piece of paper for an ocean backdrop for your octopus. Decorate the paper with all sorts of colors and sea designs. You could add seaweed, little fish, bubbles, and more.

Let your background dry. Now add your octopus to your ocean backdrop. Place one handprint on top of the other with the fingers pointing down. Overlay the handprints so the fingers create eight octopus legs.

Glue or tape your octopus in place and decorate the octopus. Add a cute octpus face, suction cups, and more! Hang your sea creature someplace special when you are finished! Enjoy Crafting!
