Ladybug Paperweights

Today's Craft: Ladybug Paperweights!
Transform round rocks into delightful lady bugs with a little bit of paint and a soft felt bottom!
Craft Project Directions:
To create these delightful lady bug paper weights, you will need a round rock, white, red and black paint, a small piece of felt, glue, scissors, and a paintbrush. If you want to add additional features, you can also use pipe cleaners and small googly eyes.
To begin select your rock, it should be round and have a flat bottom surface. Clean the rock and let it dry. Next paint the top end of the rock black for the ladybug's head and the rest of the rock red. Let it dry and then add simple lines to make wings, black spots, and white lady bug eyes. Let your ladybug dry.
You could also glue googly eyes instead of painting eyes on your ladybug and attach short sections of black pipe cleaners with glue to make antennae.
When your ladybug is dry, cut out a small felt piece the size of the flat part of the rock's bottom and an glue it in place. This will keep your ladybug from scratching the surface you rest it on.
Enjoy Crafting!
