When it dries, attach it to your pot of gold. Next create some gold coins for your pot- cut small circles from yellow construction paper, wrap them in gold foil or just decorate them.

Sweet Egg Carton Leprechaun

Today's Craft:
Sweet Egg Carton Leprechaun

Take 3 egg carton sections and create a leprechaun guaranteed to make you smile!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this leprechaun you will need thee egg carton sections, green paint, scissors, glue, markers, and a cotton ball. To begin take the three egg carton sections and cut 4 points into each of them.

Next paint two of the sections St. Patrick's Day green and leave one white. The white one will become your leprechaun's face, one green one will be your leprechaun's hat, and the other green one will be your leprechaun's shirt.

Now take one of the green section and place it pointed side down. Set the white one on the top of it, pointed side up, and glue it in place. Next place the other green section pointed side down on top of the white section so the points intermingle.

Now add a cute leprechaun face to the white section with markers and if you like add a cotton ball to the top of your leprechaun's hat.

Sime and Lively Leprechauns

Create a simple and lively leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day from your hand prints. This a wonderful holiday keepsake or a sweet holiday gift for someone special.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need scissors, colored construction paper, a pen or pencil to trace your hands, tape or glue, and crayons or markers.

To begin, first take a piece of white paper and fold it in half. Next trace your hand print onto the piece of paper with your fingers together and your thumb out at a slight angle from your palm. Cut out the hand prints - you should have two since you folded the paper in half - and set aside.

Be sure to round out the bottom of the palms. The bottom will be the chin of your leprechaun's face. Next take a piece of green construction paper and fold it in half. Trace your hand print with your fingers together and your thumb straight out to the side.

Cut out the hand prints - you should have two since you folded the paper in half - and set aside. Trim these prints straight across from the thumbs to create a brim for your leprechaun's hat. Now select a colorful piece of construction paper for a background.

Take the two white hand prints and overlay them so the thumbs become ears and the palms overlap to form a chin and a leprechaun face. glue or tape them in place. Next take the green hand prints and overlay them on top of the white leprechaun face you just created.

Overlap the green prints so the fingers overlap to form a hat and the thumbs line up to form the brim of the leprechaun's hat. If you want, slide the brim of the hat under one of the leprechaun's ears and tilt it slightly. Glue or tape it in place. Now you are ready to decorate your Leprechaun! Add a delightful Leprechaun face, a shamrock or two, a buckle for the hat, and maybe even a lucky piece of Leprechaun gold or two.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
