Baking Soda Painting

Today's Craft:
Baking Soda Painting
Lots of fizzy fun!!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need baking soda, thicker paper, liquid water colors or food coloring, water pipettes, vinegar, and paint brushes. To begin add equal parts liquid (liquid watercolors/food coloring and water) and baking soda to a bowl and mix.  You want to make sure the mixture isn't too runny or it won't fizz so much, or too thick or it won't spread out nicely.  Add the coloring until you are satisfied with the color.

Now paint your paper with the colored painting soda mixture.  The larger the areas you paint with the mixture, the larger the eruptions will be when you add the vinegar later. Next take the pipettes, fill them with vinegar, and squirt it on your paintings.  Watch them erupt and fizz!!

Enjoy Crafting!!
