President's Day Craft: Abe Lincoln

Today's Craft: President Abraham Lincoln
Create Abe Lincoln from a paper plate!
To make this project you will need a paper plate, black construction paper, scissors, glue, crayons, and tissue paper. First take the paper plate and trim the edges so you have ears on either side and then cut out a small half circle from the inside lower half of the paper plate, leaving about an inch border intact for Abe Lincoln's beard. Next take the black construction paper and cut out a large top hat and attach it to the top of your paper plate. Now decorate - add a nose, eyes, and other facial features, add a beard with tissue paper or crayon, and more...
