Today's Craft: Spooky Starchy Ghosts
How to Make this Craft:
To create these great ghosts you will need cheesecloth, liquid starch, heavier weight paper, aluminum foil, pipe cleaners, and tape.
First create a mold to create your ghosts on- take the heavier weight paper and roll it into a cylinder. Trim the length according to how large you want your ghost to be and cut three vertical slits equal distance apart at one end. Fold out the flaps you cut and stand up your cylinder. Tape the flaps to the surface you are working on so your ghost won't topple over. Make two holes opposite each other just below the top of the cylinder and poke a pipe cleaner through. Bend the ends to create outstreched arms.
Next crumble a piece of aluminum foil into a ball (this will form the ghost's head) and place it on top of the cylinder and secure it in place with tape. Next take the cheesecloth and cut it into 6 to 8 sheets for each ghost. Fill a bowl with liquid starch and dip the strips into the starch until they are fully saturated. Next drape them over the ghost mold you created until it is completely covered.
Let your ghost dry. When it is completely dry, remove it from the mold and place in a spooky setting!
