Fancy Flip-Flops
Today's Craft: Fancy Flip-Flops
Make some fancy flip-flops for your feet!
To make this craft project you will need a pair of flip-flops and some permanent paint pens or markers.
Take one of the colored markers and color a design on the flip-flops.
Let it dry and then select another color and repeat.
When you are finished decorating the flip-flops, let them dry for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Peaceful Dove Craft
Today's Craft : Peaceful Dove
Create a beautiful symbol of Peace and Faith from you hand prints and other simple materials. This quick and simple craft is sure to delight!
To make this craft project you will need cotton balls, white paper, green paper, colored construction paper, scissors, tape, glue, a pen or pencil, and your hands.
To begin, trace your hands on the white paper.
Trace the same hand once with the thumb at about 45 degrees to your palm and then again with the thumb slightly lower.
Cut them out.
These prints will become your dove's wings.
Next cut out a triangle and square off the end.
Use the picture as a guide.
This will become your dove's tail.
Now cut out a green twig with leaves from the green construction paper for your dove to carry.
Now select a pretty background piece of construction paper to create your Dove on.
Assemble your Dove on the paper and glue or tape it in place.
Next add cotton balls to the wings of the Dove and part of the body to make the Dove soft and fluffy.
Let it dry and place it someplace special.

Corn on the Cob Craft
Today's Craft: Corn on the Cob
A wonderful corn craft that is a lot of fun to make.
To make this craft project you will need yellow, green, and construction paper, yellow tissue paper, glue, and scissors.
To begin cut out a piece of corn from your yellow construction and corn husk shapes from your green construction paper using the templates provided.
Glue them onto a piece of white paper.
Next take your yellow tissue paper, rip it into small strips, and then crumble it into tiny balls.
These balls will be the corn kernels.
Glue the balls onto the corn shape to create a neat corn on the cob craft.
Vary the colors of the tissue paper to create indian corn.

To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, scissors, glue, and markers or crayons.
To begin, cut your scissors and cut out a small solid letter P from your black paper, a oval shape for a pirate face, and a pirate hat using the template provided below.

Magic Genie Puppet
Today's Craft: Magic Genie Puppet
To make this craft project you will need a paper bag (lunch size), scissors, glue, tape, colored construction paper, and crayons.
You could also use additional materials to decorate your Great and Magical Genie paper bag puppet if you wish.
To begin, you will create your Genie's face on the paper bag's bottom and the back side of the paper bag.
In order to create your Genie's face and wild hat, you will need to cut out several pieces from your colored construction paper.
You can create your genie using your own imagination or you can use the templates at the addresses given below.
To begin select the colored papers you want to use to create your genie. Select as many colors as you want.
First cut out the genie's face, eyes, eyebrows, and beard from your colored paper.
Next cut out the genie hat and hat decorations.
Next tape or glue the genie's face onto the bottom of the bag.
Now add the beard to the face with glue or tape.
Next assemble the hat with its decorations and attach it on the Genie's head.
Now glue or tape on the eyes and eyebrows.
Decorate your Genie further with crayons and other materials.
Add colorful jewels to his hat, expression to his eyes, a fantastic mouth, and more!
Add hands and arms to the sides of the bag if you wish.

Lollipop Ghosts

Take your pipe cleaners and cut them in half.

One Very Cool Cow
Today's Craft: One Very Cool Cow
To make this craft project you will need a paper cup, white tissue paper, tape, a black pipe cleaner, black construction paper, white paper, scissors, glue, and crayons.
To begin, take your tissue paper and cut a long rectangular piece.
Wrap this piece around your paper cup completely covering the outside. Tape or glue the tissue paper so it won't shift.
Flip your cup upside down and set aside. This will be your cow's body.
Next cut out a cute cow face and a small rectangle to make a cow's tail.
You can use your own imagination or the templates provided at the address below.
Cut the cute cow face and small rectangle out of white construction paper.
Fringe one side of the small rectangle vertically by making long vertical cuts side by side into it.
Take your black construction paper and cut a narrow rectangular strip about 3 inches long. This will be your cow's neck.
Also cut out several curvy black cow spots.
Next take your black pipe cleaner and cut it in half.
Wrap the small white rectangle you fringed to the end of the pipe cleaner and tape in place. This will be your cow's tail.
Now let's assemble your cow!
Tape or glue the neck to the back of the cow's face and then tape or glue the other end to the top of the cup (your cow's body)
Use the picture as a guide.
Tape or glue the black cow splotches to the cow's body.
Add the cow's tail to the back of the cow's body.
Now decorate your cow further with crayons.
Add more facial features and decorations, maybe even a cute cow bell.

Incredible Apple Prints
Today's Craft: Incredible Apple Prints
A wonderful Fall project that you are sure to enjoy all year round.
You can make wonderful apple prints and decorate all sorts of things: apple picking bags, t-shirts, wrapping paper, cards, and more!
To make your apple print creation, you will need apples, a knife, brown, green, and red paint (fabric paint to use on fabric), newspaper, a paintbrush, and the item you want to decorate.
Lay out newspaper for a work space for your self. Next take some newspaper and place it inside your bag or t-shirt if that is what you are making so your prints won't seep through to the other side.
Take the brown paint and paint a tree stem and some branches. Let them dry.
Next take an apple and cut it in half horizontally to make leaf prints for your apple tree.
Paint the flat apple side green and press it around the tree trunk you have created. Let it dry.
Now you are ready to add the apples.
Cut an apple vertically and paint the flat side with red paint.
Press it on your picture adding apples all over your tree.
Let it dry and you will have a special apple creation.

To make this craft project you will need a black paper plate, scissors, black and white papers, crayons or markers, and glue.
To begin take your paper plate and scissors and cut the paper plate in half. The paper plate half will become your spider's body.
Next cut out eight curvy spider legs from your black paper, two eyes from your white paper, and several spider fangs from your white paper.

Friendly Pumpkin Face
To make this craft project, you will need 7 large craft sticks, orange, green, and black paint, a paintbrush, some green construction paper, scissors, and glue.
To begin lay out 5 craft sticks next to one another and glue two craftsticks horizontally across them to secure them together- this will be the back of your pumpkin.

Marvelous Mitten Frames
Are you starting to feel Fall in the air?
Today's craft of the day is a Marvelous Mitten Frame.
These are quick and easy to make and are fabulous gifts.
To make this craft project, you will need scissors, glue, a photo, 2 heavyweight pieces of paper or cardboard, and markers or crayons with which to decorate your frame . To begin take your scissors and cut out two pieces of paper or cardboard in the size and shape that you want your mitten picture frame to take, or you can use the basic mitten frame template provided below. Put one aside. Take the other and cut out the center in an attractive form. Decorate this piece with your markers or crayons, or other materials if you wish. Now take your photo and glue it to the center of the mitten you put aside. Next glue the deocrated mitten frame over the photo and let dry. Attach a ribbon to the back if you want to hang it up.
