To begin cut out a simple banner shape using the picture provided as a guide or create a dashing banner shape of your own using your imagination. This will trail behind your airplane.

Now select a colorful piece of construction paper and cut out the airplane. The color you choose will be the dominant color of your boat.

You could also use a heavier weight piece of paper if you wish to make a more sturdy bookmark. You can use the template at the address below as a guide.Decorate your airplane and the streaming banner. Add stripes to the wings, a name, numbers, and any else you want.Next take a colorful pipe cleaner and attach one end of it to the banner you cut out.

Attach the other end of the pipe cleaner to the center of the airplane you created. Secure it in place on the back side.

Now use your airplane bookmark to hold your place as you read or give it to someone special.

Fabulous Footprints for Father's Day

Fabulous Footprints for Father's Day

Preserve your foot for eternity with this sandy project!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft you will need: a shoe box (or some type of tray with about two or three inches of depth), sand from the beach, plaster of paris, a bowl, and some water.

Fill your box or tray with sand and sprinkle it with water just so that the sand is held together. Step into the sand and remove your foot, leaving a nice footprint.

Create a plaster of paris mixture in a bowl. Plaster of paris is available at most craft stores. Pour the plaster of paris into the footprint-don't overflow the footprint!

Let the plaster of paris dry- about a week- and remove your foot. Use it as a great gift, scary prop, a paper weight, decorate it- You decide!
