Simple Easter Egg Tree

Today's Craft:
Simple Easter Egg Tree

Make a simple Easter Egg Tree with twigs and paper.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need twigs, colored construction paper, markers or crayons, string or ribbon, tape, glue, and scissors.

To begin take a large piece of paper, roll it into a tall tube, and secure its shape with tape.

Next take your twigs, poke small holes through the upright paper tube using your scissors, and insert the twigs so they become your tree's branches.

Now take your colored construction paper, cut out a large number of paper egg shapes and decorate them with your crayons or markers.

Attach each egg to a small piece of ribbon or string and hang it on a branch. Continue until you have an Easter Egg Tree filled with beautiful paper eggs.

Fabulous Felt Eggs

Fabulous Felt Eggs

Create some delightful eggs using felt, cotton, and ribbon.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need colored felt pieces, some cotton balls, glue, scissors, and ribbon.

To begin take your felt and cut to equal sized oval egg shapes.

Glue ribbon pieces and multi-colored felt pieces on the tops of the oval shapes to create a decorated egg.

Next flip over the shapes and spread glue along the inside of one shape and place a few cotton balls on the other half. Press the felt egg together and let it dry.

Give Me a Hand

Make a Handprint for Mom for Mother's Day and date it!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need baking clay, a rolling pin, an adult to help you with the oven, and a pencil.

First make some baking clay (see the recipe section) and roll out some clay that is bigger than your palm.

Press your hand hard into the clay leaving your handprint behind when you remove it.

Now take the pencil and scratch your name and the date into the clay.

Now place the clay print on a cookie or baking sheet and bake in the oven at 325 degrees until solid.

An Excellent Egg: Fabulous Fish

Transform your egg into a fabulous fish in a snap!

Craft Project Directions:
To create this craft project you will need an egg (dyed or plastic) which is the color you want your fish to be, blue construction paper, scissors, tape or glue, and crayons or markers.

First take your blue construction paper and cut a paper strip and bend it into a paper roll. This will be the ocean that your fish will swim in and rest upon.

Cut the edge of the top of the paper roll in a wavy fashion to resemble ocean waves and rest your egg sideways on top. Next cut out fish fins and a fish tail and glue or tape them onto the shell. Add eyes and further decoration with markers or crayons.

Beautiful Bunny Baskets

Create a cute bunny basket for Easter from a paper bag

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need a paper bag, scissors, colored construction paper, crayons or markers, and a stapler.

To begin, take your paper bag and open it up. Next cut the bag down to twice the height your want the edges of your basket to be.

Now fold the sides of the bag down so that the sides are doubled up.

Take the section of the bag you cut off and cut it into a strip for a basket handle.

Staple the ends of the strip onto the sides of the basket.

Now you are ready to decorate your basket. Transform it into a bunny by adding paper bunny ears, bunny whiskers, a cotton ball bunny tails and color in a fabulous bunny face.

Delightful and Dashing Duck Masks

Do you like to feed the ducks? Or do you just like ducks in general? If you answered yes to either of those questions, this might be just the mask for you! Transform yourself into a dashing and delightful duck!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need several craft sticks, colored construction paper, yellow and white paper, scissors, feathers (optional),glue, tape, and crayons.

To begin take several craft sticks and tape them together end to end to create a longer craft stick. This will be the holder for your mask.

Next using the the templates at the address below or your own imagination, cut out a delightful duck face and dashing duck bill. Cut the large duck face out of your white construction paper. Or use another color if you prefer!

Be sure to cut out two eyes for you to peer through the mask. Use the picture as a guide.Next cut out a large dashing duck bill from your yellow construction paper.

Next tape or glue the delightful duck bill to the duck's face.Next tape or glue the craft stick mask holder to the backside of the dashing duck mask.

Be sure leave enough of the craft stick holder stick out at the bottom to hold onto. Decorate your daring duck mask further with crayons and wear it with style!

Bunny Tail Eggs

Bunny Tail Eggs

A great way to decorate Easter eggs this year!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need white construction paper, cotton balls, colored tempera paint on paper plates (an assortment of different colors), and some scissors.

To begin cut out a large white egg shape.

Next dip a cotton ball (bunny tail) in a color of paint and shake it over or tap it on your egg shape to sprinkle paint on the egg.

Repeat with different colors and cotton balls. Let dry.

Create a great bunny using a large paper plate and a small paper plate.

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need a large paper plate, a small paper plate, colored paper, a cotton ball, scissors, glue, tape, and paints, markers, or crayons.

To begin, cut out bunny ears, eyes, and a bunny nose using the templates provided below.

Next attach your small paper plate (your bunny's head) to your large paper plate (your bunny's body) using either glue or tape.

Next paint or color your bunny and glue on the bunny's eyes, ears, and nose. Let dry. Add whiskers and decorate further.
